In stop-everything news, the long-awaited vacation episodes of Euphoria will drop on HBO Max. ICYMI: Zendaya announced in October that the show would release two special episodes prior to the start of 2021, with the first on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. ET.

The episode follows the episodes of last season’s finale, with Zendaya as Rue celebrating Christmas without Jules. Returning to the Euphoria world, you’re probably wondering what Zendaya has been up to lately (plus, you know, winning Emmys and all), including what’s going on in her love life.

So … who is Zendaya’s boyfriend, or is she single RN? Here’s what you need to know:
According to reports, Zendaya had a showmance with her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi.
It’s worth mentioning that the two have never confirmed anything publicly. Nevertheless, there are many suggestive pictures and comments that give serious weight to these reports. The two were first spotted together during a trip to Greece in 2019, per E!, which got people talking.

Jacob later told GQ Australia that Zendaya is “like his sister,” but it’s kind of hard to know if he was just trying to throw people off the scent. In the same interview, he also praised Zendaya as an ” amazing creative.”
They were seen kissing on the street last year.

Well, fast forward to February 2019, and Jacob and Zendaya were seen having coffee in NYC. At some point, Jacob may have been kissing Zendaya’s hair, according to a picture from Harper ‘ s Bazaar. But tbh, it’s hard to say for sure, since he might have been whispering in her ear-on a crowded street where you usually have to shout to be heard. So, yeah.

Then, Things seemed to get serious between the two.
Now, after the whispered kiss, sources told E! that the two” quietly ” had been dating for months and what started out as “close friends”… became romantic.”

“They’ve been inseparable since last summer and have been making time for each other in between projects,” the source said, adding that Jacob had met Zendaya’s family and that everyone “loves” him.
Pandemic has been hard on their rumored relationship.

SO. A little thing called the global COVId-19 pandemic happened and kept them on opposite ends of the earth. Jacob was back home in Australia while Zendaya was holed up in Los Angeles, according to Variety. That’s not great for building a relationship.

It’s not clear what happened, but it seems Zendaya is single at the moment.
Meanwhile, Jacob has been spotted with Kaia Gerber lately. Actually, Jacob and Kaia actually had dinner together on Zendaya’s 24th birthday, per E! so, yeah, he and Zendaya are probably over-if they were ever officially together. (Kaia’s parents also “approve” of Jacob, according to ET).

But Zendaya and Jacob seem to have ended on good terms.
When Zendaya won an Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series-the youngest woman ever to do so, TYRA-Jacob shared a picture of her on his Instagram story, writing, “Congratulations Captain…Bravo.”
There’s no word on whether Zendaya is spending time with someone special these days or if she’s busy living her best single life. Either way, she’s absolutely killing it.
